Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Korean red chili paste (gochujang)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish
  • Cooked rice and lettuce leaves for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, sliced green onions, and Korean red chili paste.
  2. Add thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
