For the vegetables:

1 small onion, sliced
1 small bell pepper, sliced
1 small tomato, sliced
1 green chili, sliced, optional
1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped

For the wrap:

4 rotis, parathas, or tortillas
Half cup yogurt
2 tablespoons mayonnaise or cream cheese, optional
Half teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
Lettuce or cabbage, optional

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, add thick yogurt, ginger garlic paste, oil, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, lemon juice, and salt. Mix everything into a smooth marinade. Add the paneer pieces and coat them gently so they do not break. Let the paneer rest for at least 15 to 20 minutes.

Heat a pan on medium heat and add a little oil. Place the marinated paneer pieces in the pan and cook until they become golden on the outside. Turn them gently so they cook evenly. Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the same pan and cook for two to three minutes. The vegetables should stay slightly crisp.

In a small bowl, mix yogurt with mayonnaise or cream cheese, black pepper, and a little salt. This will be the creamy spread for the wrap. Warm the roti, paratha, or tortilla on a pan so it becomes soft and easy to roll.

Place one roti on a plate. Spread a spoonful of the creamy yogurt mixture in the centre. Add lettuce or cabbage if using. Place the cooked paneer tikka mixture on top, then add sliced tomato, fresh coriander, and green chili if you want extra heat.

Fold the sides inward and roll the wrap tightly. Place it back on the pan for one minute on each side to seal it and make the outside slightly crisp. Cut it in half and serve hot.

Spicy paneer tikka wrap is a great recipe for anyone who wants a filling meal with strong Indian flavours. It is creamy, smoky, spicy, and fresh all at once. Serve it with fries, salad, or a cold drink for a complete homemade meal that feels like street food and restaurant food in one.
