The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect wanted in an Assault investigation.
On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at approximately 9 a.m., police responded to a call for an Assault in the Islington Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West area.
It is reported that:
the victim and suspect were onboard the same bus travelling northbound on Islington Avenue
the suspect assaulted the victim unprovoked
the victim suffered minor injuries during the assault
after the assault, the suspect stole the victim’s personal property
the suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival
The suspect is described as male, approximately 6′ 0″, 35-40 years old, with a medium build, black hair, unshaven black facial hair, and black eyes. At the time of the assault, the suspect was wearing a blue winter coat, grey sweatpants, and a black hooded sweater.
