Suspect Sought in Robbery Investigation, Front Street West and University Avenue area, Image Released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in a Robbery investigation.
On Thursday, March 5, 2026 at approximately 7:30 p.m. police responded to a call for a Robbery in the Front Street West and University Avenue area.
It is reported that:
the victim parked his Taxi on the north side of Front Street West to drop off a male passenger
the man pulled out a knife and made a demand for the victim’s money
the man cut the victim and then fled the area
the victim was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries
The man is described as 5’8″ with a medium build. He was wearing a dark jacket, cream-coloured headphones and carrying a black backpack.
