Suspect to be Identified in Assault Cause Bodily Harm Investigation, Spadina Avenue and College Street area, UPDATE: Man Arrested

The Toronto Police Service is updating the public about an arrest made in an Assault Cause Bodily Harm investigation.
On Monday, March 16, 2026, at approximately 7:14 p.m., police responded to a call for an Assault in the Spadina Avenue and College Street area.
It is alleged that:
the suspect and the victim were on board a TTC streetcar when the suspect randomly punched the victim in the face and then kicked the victim causing him to fall out of the open door onto the transit stop median
the suspect then fled the scene on foot
the victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital

On Thursday, April 9, 2026, Shaun Dwayne Eubank, 47, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
Assault Causing Bodily Harm
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., in room 301.
