Suspects for Identification Following Armed Home Invasion in East Gwillimbury

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are appealing for
witnesses and are looking to identify at least three suspects wanted in
connection with a home invasion in the Township East Gwillimbury.

On April 13, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m., three suspects forced their way
into a residence in the area of Frederick Pearson Street and John Candy Drive.
Inside the residence, two victims were assaulted, and suffered
non-life-threatening injuries. A firearm was also discharged. There were no
injuries reported as a result of the discharged firearm.

The suspects fled the scene in a dark-coloured sedan, where a fourth suspect was
waiting.

Three suspects are described as male, wearing balaclavas and all black clothing.
There is no description of the driver.

This is believed to be a targeted incident, and there is no ongoing threat to
public safety.
