Fail to Remain Personal Injury Collision #15/2025, Evans Avenue and Royal York Road area, UPDATE: Photos of Suspect Vehicle

The Toronto Police Service is updating the public in a Fail to Remain Collision investigation.
On Sunday, April 27, 2025, at approximately 2:24 a.m., police responded to a Fail to Remain Personal Injury Collision in the Evans Avenue and Royal York Road area.
It is reported that:
a vehicle was travelling northbound on Royal York Road approaching Evans Avenue
the vehicle struck a 29-year-old male pedestrian near the intersection
the vehicle did not remain on scene and was last seen travelling westbound on Evans Avenue
the pedestrian was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries

The suspect vehicle is described as a white sedan and was believed to be travelling from Lake Shore Boulevard West and Burlington Street area.
Images of the vehicle have been released.
Police are asking local residents and drivers who may have dash camera footage or witnessed the event to contact investigators at 416-808-1900, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or at www.222tips.com.
