Fail to Remain Personal Injury Collision #15/2025, Evans Avenue and Royal York Road area

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with a Fail to Remain Collision investigation.
On Sunday, April 27, 2025, at approximately 2:24 a.m., police responded to a Fail to Remain Personal Injury Collision in the Evans Avenue and Royal York Road area.
It is reported that:
a vehicle was travelling northbound on Royal York Road approaching Evans Avenue
the vehicle struck a 29-year-old male pedestrian near the intersection
the vehicle did not remain on scene and was last seen travelling westbound on Evans Avenue
the pedestrian was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries
There is no description available for the vehicle at this time.
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area, or incident, to contact investigators.
