Fatal Collision #10/2025, Sheppard Avenue East and Meadowvale Road area

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 6:11 p.m., police responded to a Personal Injury Collision in the Sheppard Avenue East and Meadowvale Road area.
It is reported that:
a 30-year-old male was driving a black Ram pick-up truck eastbound on Sheppard Avenue East approaching Meadowvale Road
a TTC transit bus was also eastbound on Sheppard Avenue East and was stopped in the left turn lane at the intersection
the Ram pick-up truck struck the rear corner of the TTC transit bus
the 30-year-old male driver of the Ram was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision
no other injuries were reported
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
