Fatal Collision #11/2025, Birchmount Road and St.Clair Avenue East area, UPDATE: Image Released

On Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 9:29 p.m., police responded to a Personal Injury collision in the Birchmount Road and St.Clair Avenue East area.
It is reported that:
an unidentified female pedestrian was walking in the northbound lanes of Birchmount Road, north of Anaconda Avenue
an unidentified driver was operating a white cargo van northbound on Birchmount Road
the driver of the white cargo van struck the female pedestrian on the roadway
the female pedestrian was then struck by a second vehicle that was travelling southbound on Birchmount Road. The second vehicle is described as a dark SUV
both vehicles failed to remain at the scene of the collision
the female pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene
