Man Arrested in Child Sexual Abuse Material Investigation, Avenue Road and Lawrence Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Section (ICE) is notifying the public of an arrest made in a Child Sexual Abuse Material investigation.

On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, as part of an investigation into the downloading of child sexual abuse material, members of ICE executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Avenue Road and Lawrence Avenue West area

As a result, John Bilokrely, 35, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

two counts of Possess Child Pornography
two counts of Access Child Pornography
Make Available Child Pornography

A quantity of child sexual abuse material was located during the search and the investigation continues.

He was scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 2 p.m., in room 105.

There are also resources available through the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health for those who have a sexual interest in children. The new Talking for Change program is the first of its kind in Canada and provides national and all-ages help for those concerned about their risk to use child sexual exploitation material or offend sexually against a child.
