Man Arrested in Sexual Assault Investigation, York University, Image Released

The Toronto Police Service is notifying the public of an arrest made in a Sexual Assault investigation.
On Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 8:45 a.m., the Toronto Police Service attended a call for service at York University.
It is alleged that:
the accused approached women on campus property and engaged them in conversation before attempting to draw them into a private area
when the women declined and tried to leave the area, the accused sexually assaulted them
the accused sexually assaulted three individuals
Kevin Desousa, 31, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:
three counts of Sexual Assault
Assault
Possession of Counterfeit Money
Fail to Comply with Release Order
He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., in room 105.
Police believe there may be more victims and are appealing for them to contact police. An image of the accused has been released.
