Man Arrested in Voyeurism Investigation, Finch Avenue East and Midland Avenue area, Image Released

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of an arrest made in a Voyeurism investigation.
It is alleged that:
In October 2024, the restaurant owner of ‘Yomie’s Rice X Yogurt’ located at 4188 Finch Avenue East, unit 6, installed a hidden video camera inside a washroom in the restaurant
In November 2024, a restaurant patron discovered the hidden camera and police were notified
Police commenced an investigation.
On Sunday, April 20, 2025, Zehan Xu, 25, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
two counts of Voyeurism
He is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 2 p.m., in room 205.
An image of the restaurant has been released.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims who attended the restaurant between October and November 2024 and may have been recorded without their knowledge or consent. Anyone who used the restroom at the location during that time period is encouraged to contact police.
