Man Wanted in an Assault, Mischief and Utter Threats Investigation, Gerrard Street East and Broadview Avenue area, Image released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with an Assault, Mischief and Utter Threats investigation.
On Sunday, June 9, 2024, police responded to a call for an assault in the Broadview Avenue and Gerrard Street East area.
It is alleged that:
on Saturday, June 8, 2024, the male suspect attended the victim’s residence
the suspect and victim had a verbal argument
the suspect then assaulted the victim
the male then fled the scene
It is further alleged that:
on Sunday, June 9, 2024, the suspect returned to the victim’s residence
the suspect and the victim had a verbal argument
the suspect then proceeded to damage several items in the victim’s residence
the suspect then threatened the victim and proceeded to assault the victim
the suspect then fled the scene
The suspect and the victim are known to each other.
Sufyan Chaudry, 28, of Toronto is wanted for:
two counts of Assault
three counts of Mischief Under
Utter Threats / Death or Bodily Harm
He is described as 5’9″, with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes.
