Personal Injury Collision #48/2024, Danforth Avenue and Linnsmore Crescent area

On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at approximately 9 a.m., police responded to a report of a Personal Injury Collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle in the Danforth Avenue and Linnsmore Crescent area.
It is reported that:
a 90-year-old woman was crossing Danforth Avenue from the south side to the north side
a 40-year-old woman was driving a motor vehicle southbound on Linnsmore Crescent
the motor vehicle struck the pedestrian
the pedestrian was transported to a local trauma center where her injuries were deemed life-threatening
the driver remained at the scene
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
