Tragic Vehicle Plunge into Lake Ontario Leaves One Dead, One Hospitalized

A tragic incident occurred early Saturday morning when a vehicle plunged into Lake Ontario near 176 Cherry Street in Toronto. First responders arrived at the scene around 3:30 a.m., where two men had managed to escape from the submerged vehicle. Unfortunately, one of them was later found unresponsive by fire crews during a water search and rescue operation. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services. The other individual was taken to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
