Toronto / Brampton, November 2, 2025 — The World Brahman Federation Canada (WBFC) hosted a grand celebration of Deepawali Milan 2025 at the Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Brampton, under the leadership of Professor Sadhna Joshi, PhD, DSc, President, and Professor Azad K. Kaushik, DSc (Paris), Chairman.
Themed “Brahmanical Values to Enlighten the 21st Century World,” the event brought together scholars, community leaders, professionals, and cultural ambassadors from Canada, India, the United States, the United Kingdom, and France to reaffirm the timeless relevance of Vedic wisdom in contemporary society.
A Celebration of Knowledge, Culture, and Spiritual Unity
The evening commenced with a traditional Ganesh Vandana followed by a warm welcome address from Professor Sadhna Joshi, who emphasized WBFC’s mission to unite the global Brahman community through cultural exchange, humanitarian service, and intellectual dialogue.
“Deepawali is not merely a festival of lights but a celebration of truth, knowledge, and compassion — the guiding principles of Brahmanical thought,” remarked Professor Joshi.
A spiritually uplifting Āshirvachan (message of blessings) from Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Shri Nischalananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj of Govardhan Math, Puri Peeth, was delivered by Shri Prem Chandra Jha. He conveyed the Jagadguru’s call for a Hindu Rāṣṭra — not as a political movement, but as a cultural and spiritual necessity — reaffirming the values of truth (satya), righteousness (dharma), and compassion (karuṇā). His message deeply resonated with attendees, reflecting WBFC’s vision of dharmic unity and revival.
Distinguished Guests and Inspiring Messages
The Chief Guest, Shri Kalraj Mishra, Former Governor of Rajasthan and Former Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (India), commended WBFC’s dedication to sustaining Sanātana values across continents. He praised the federation’s efforts to inspire future generations to preserve and promote Vedic ideals in a rapidly modernizing world.
