Public Assistance – Multiple Auto Mischief Incidents
Region of Peel —Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) are currently investigating a series of Automobile Mischief incidents in the Mississauga/Malton area and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, Peel Regional Police received 16 calls for damage and theft of property from vehicles parked on Bayswater Crescent and Rockhill Road in the City of Mississauga (Malton).
On Saturday, May 4, 2024, police received 20 similar calls for service regarding vehicles parked on or near Dunrankin Road in the City of Mississauga.
Both incidents appear connected and are believed to have been perpetrated by the same suspect.
The suspect is described as Male, light skinned, slim build, approximately 20-25 years old, 6’ ft tall, wearing dark clothing and Nike running shoes.
Investigators are asking anyone with surveillance footage or information about the suspect’s identity to contact 12 Division CIB at 905-453-2121 extension 1233. Information may also be left anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca .
