Two individuals have been apprehended following a series of carjackings in Brampton, one of which involved residents being threatened with a firearm. The incidents occurred on Thursday, with the first taking place in the early hours of the morning near Goreway Drive and Castlemore Road. Three suspects allegedly entered a residence, brandishing a gun and demanding car keys from the occupants. Following compliance, the suspects fled in stolen Mercedes Benz sedans.
Later that day, another carjacking occurred at a plaza near Airport Road and Queen Street East, where three men, armed with a handgun, forced a victim out of their 2017 Rolls Royce before driving away. Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported in either incident.
