Canada based ‘Vishva Hindi Sansthan Cultural Organization’ or- ganizes its ‘Second International Hindi Literary Conference, 2019’ in as- sociation with ‘Kurukshetra, India based ‘Global Hindi Sahitya Shodh
Sansthan’ in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
The First International Hindi Literary Conference’ was held in April
2018 attended by delegates from India, America, France, Mauritius and
Canada.
This year delegates from America, India, France, Belgium, Japan
and Canada have registered their participation in the Conference. This 7
day conference will start on August 14, 2019 and will end on August 20,
2019.
Statement of the conference is – ‘The Sun of Hindi never sets.’ With
an objective of promotion of Hindi language globally ‘Vishva Hindi
Sansthan’ started the series of International Hindi Conferences in Canada
from 2018.
The conference is partnered with ‘Gurugram University’,Gurugram, Hariyana, India and is being supported by the High Commis- sion of India, Ottawa, Canada, Counsellor Mr. Jim Karygiannis, Pt. Tilak Raj Trust, New York, America, Global Hindi Jyoti, California, USA, Cross
Currents, Canada, Sanskrit Yoga Gurukul, Canada and many other organi-
zations of global repute.
This year the Conference includes Ottawa, Toronto and Niagara
Falls visit. Main events of the conference will be held on Friday, 16th Aug,
evening – Musical night, Saturday, 17th August, Opening Session, Awards
& Honors Session and Paper Reading Session, and Sunday, August 18th ,2019 participation in the India Day Parade. ‘Vishva Hindi Sansthan’ every year introduces ‘Sahitya Rath’ (The Literature Chariot) in the India Day Parade on occasion of Indian Independence Day organized jointly by Consulate General of India, Toronto and Panorama Canada.
Participating delegates from various countries include Padmabhushan Dr. Laxmi Prasad
Yarlgadda, Dr. Markanday Ahuja, Vice-Chancellor Gurugram University, Dr. Kamraj Sindhu, President, Global Hindi Sahitya Shodh Sansthan, Dr. Sangita Adhikari, Hindi Officer, a num-
ber of Professors, Journalists, Hindi poets, blog writers and authors.
Venue of the main conference is ‘Fredrick Banting International School, 21 Coventry
Road, Brampton and venue for ‘Sahitya Rath’ is University Road, Queens park, downtown,
Toronto.
This is a self-funded event and all the local and foreign delegates bear their own expens-
es of stay, visiting places and food.
