Driver with Four Lifetime Driving Prohibitions Arrested Again

Region of Peel – Officers from the Safer Roads Team (SRT) have arrested a prolific driving offender from Brampton subject to five lifetime driving prohibitions.
Since 2017, 41-year-old Nirmal Singh has been convicted of 35 Criminal Code and 8 Provincial Offence Act (POA) charges including the following:
Operation While Prohibited (X9) Impaired Operation (X2) Dangerous Operation (X2) Fail to Stop After Accident Flight from Police Fail to Comply with Release Order (X3) Breach of Probation (X3) Theft of Motor Vehicle Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (X4) Assault (X3) Utter Threats (X2) ·Mischief (X2) Criminal Harassment Obstruct Peace Officer On Thursday, April 11, 2024, SRT officers located Nirmal Singh in Brampton and arrested him on the strength of a Toronto Police Service warrant for:
Theft of a Motor Vehicle Operation While Prohibited (X2) Breach of Probation (X6) He was transferred into the custody of the Toronto Police Service and held pending a bail hearing.
