WHAT: | Wards 1 & 5 Regional Councillors Rowena Santos and Paul Vicente invite media to capture the first Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) sign in Ward 1. Brampton Fire Chief Boyes and Peel Regional Police Superintendent Sean McKenna will also be in attendance.
During the sign unveiling, Councillors will bring remarks regarding the significance of the program and next steps in making Brampton a safer place for its residents.

DETAILS: | The City of Brampton has zero tolerance for speeding and is working towards creating safer communities through the installation of Automated Speed Enforcement.
Following the 90-day notification, Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) will be installed to capture and record images of vehicles driving in excess of the posted speed limits.
ASE is a speed enforcement tool that uses technology to help make Brampton’s roads safer for all users.
