Prasad Panda, Minister of Infrastructure, Govt of Alberta and Dr. Trevin Stratton, Chief Economist, Canadian Chamber of Commerce gave a lot of insights about how important this pipeline was, the jobs it was creating, how safe it was and the negative consequences this decision by US President Joe Biden will have.
Another major issue, the notice issued by Michigan Governor to stop the Enbridge Line 5 Pipeline in May was also discussed.
Both these pipelines, if cancelled, will have serious consequences not just for Alberta, but also for Ontario, Quebec and even the US itself. Both events were moderated by Vipul Jani. Canada India USA Development Forum (CIUDF) is a membership-based Not for Profit Organization.
