Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended their wishes on Wednesday during an event commemorating Republic Day.

As part of his greetings, home minister Amit Shah paid homage to the soldiers who are keeping the integrity and sovereignty of the country intact.
The Minister said he bowed in tribute to all those soldiers who served the Indian Republic with honor and integrity.
India’s commitment to democratic values of freedom should be further ensured on the day by all Indians signing a pledge.
Mr. Rajnath Singh said the occasion is a chance to celebrate our democracy and cultivate our constitutional values.
The ambassador prayed for the prosperity and progress of the country.
The President addressed the nation early on Republic Day and described it as a celebration of our common humanity, our Indianness.
