Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has been carefully planning her return to the public eye with the launch of a wellness and lifestyle brand. However, her anticipated comeback faces a potential obstacle as reports suggest her ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, has been approached with offers to write a revealing book about their past marriage.

Meghan was previously married to Trevor from 2011 to 2013, and their divorce was attributed to “irreconcilable differences.” Recent reports indicate that Trevor has been approached by literary agents with substantial book deals to chronicle their shared history, which includes Meghan’s rise to fame.

Royal author Neil Sean, known for his work on “The A To Z Of Harry And Meghan,” mentioned that Meghan, now 42, may be concerned about this prospect. Neil, who has met Trevor, noted that he has a unique perspective as someone who was married to Meghan during her early years of fame. He said, “Meghan is bound to be petrified. He would truly have a remarkable story because after all, he would have first-hand experience of what it was like to be married the first time around to the actress. I have met him briefly, and he strikes me as a nice, caring man who clearly has moved on. However, there is no escape from his story.”

Trevor’s Beverly Hills-based production company, Underground, was responsible for the popular TV crime drama “Snowfall,” which spanned six seasons.

Previously, there were rumors of Trevor collaborating with royal author Tom Bower on a book titled “Revenge: Meghan, Harry And The War Between The Windsors,” which explored Meghan’s first marriage. The book suggested that their initial years as a couple were joyful but that their relationship began to deteriorate after Meghan’s involvement in the legal drama “Suits.”

Neil speculated that Trevor’s perspective could provide unique insights into Meghan’s ambition and determination. He mentioned, “His story would be the inside track on how ruthless, ambitious and determined she was. If he talks about how he was dumped and why, then it could be explosive. Meghan is not known for keeping any friends from her past, and Trevor’s story so far is a huge mystery.”

While Meghan’s estranged family members have previously been outspoken about their relationship with her, Neil cautioned that Trevor might also have his own story to tell. He concluded, “If I were Harry, I would look out. I think there are many more skeletons in her closet. Her past is her future.”

Currently, Prince Harry has been active in public engagements, including attending the WellChild Awards and hosting the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf. Meghan is set to join him in hosting a Life Stories Scene during the games’ closing ceremony, where they will celebrate the courage and resilience of injured servicemen and women participating.
