Join the enthusiasts as the City celebrates Halloween one last time before you pack away your costume and dispose of your jack-o’-lantern!
Residents are invited to dress in their Halloween costumes, bring their pumpkins and light them up one last time in Ken Whillans Square. Enjoy a photo booth, live performances, interactive games, giveaways by The Little Shop, Jamie’s Cracked Corn and Cristina’s Tortina Shop, and learn about waste and environmental practices. This year’s event will also see the return of the pumpkin smash! Admission is free.
Homeowners are encouraged to create barrier-free trick-or-treating stations to increase accessibility and inclusivity. Participating residents are welcome to place a Treat Accessibly sign on their front lawn to let residents know that if a trick-or-treater has a disability, they can experience Halloween without barriers at their home.
Inclusive Halloween Drop-in Dinner and Dance
Teens and adults living with a disability are invited to a ghoulish night of fun at Loafer’s Lake Recreation Centre on October 28 for a Halloween dinner and dance. Support workers are welcome and are only required to purchase a dinner ticket as needed.

Join the crowd at the Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre on October 28 and Century Gardens Recreation Centre on October 29, from 6-9 pm.
