In Brampton, Ontario, a carjacking incident has led to the arrest of two teenagers and the involvement of an 11-year-old girl, according to Peel police. The altercation occurred in February at a high school parking lot near Kennedy Road and Queen Street, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to the victim, who was both struck and stabbed.
Peel police detailed that the suspects used social media to bait the victim to the parking lot. Upon his arrival, the victim was assaulted and his vehicle demanded at knifepoint. The 11-year-old girl involved was arrested but released due to her age.
Charges have been laid against a 13-year-old girl from Mississauga and a 16-year-old boy from Brampton for robbery and assault. Additionally, police are actively seeking a 17-year-old boy from Brampton, believed to be connected to the crime, and have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
