Eclipse Cookies:
Ingredients:
- Sugar cookie dough (homemade or store-bought)
- Black icing or black frosting
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to the temperature specified in your sugar cookie recipe or on the store-bought dough packaging.
- Roll out the cookie dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Use a round cookie cutter to cut out circles from the dough.
- Place the cookie dough circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the cookies according to your recipe’s instructions, until they are golden brown.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely.
- Once cooled, use black icing or frosting to create a crescent moon shape on one side of each cookie, and a smaller circle on the other side to represent the eclipse.
