Eila Adams, known for her role as an anchor on Naked News and as a fitness enthusiast, is gearing up to participate in this year’s World Naked Bike Ride in Toronto. The annual event, aimed at advocating for environmental causes such as reducing oil usage, will see Adams and other participants biking in the nude to draw attention to alternative transportation options.
Adams expressed her enthusiasm for joining the ride, highlighting the importance of addressing urban pollution and promoting cycling safety on city streets. She emphasized the sense of liberation and community spirit that comes with biking through the city without clothing.
As an integral part of the Naked News team for 15 years, Adams has become one of the longest-serving presenters since the series’ inception in 1999. Reflecting on her tenure, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity and looked forward to more years with the show.
The World Naked Bike Ride, scheduled for June 8th at 1 p.m. in Toronto’s Coronation Park, encourages participants to dress in accordance with the motto “as bare as you dare,” while also allowing for clothing if preferred.
