Police Continue to Make Arrests in Car Theft Investigations

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Auto Unit, in collaboration with the Commercial Auto Crime, arrested and charged five men and two youths with various criminal charges.

On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Police became aware of several males staying at a short term rental in the area of Cawthra Road and Burnhamthorpe Road in Mississauga. Police had information that these males were from the Quebec area and attended Mississauga to steal high-end vehicles.

On January 4, 2024, 12 Division Auto Unit officers, alongside the Tactical Unit, executed a search warrant on a residence in Mississauga, which resulted in five men and two youths being arrested.

Mamadi Kaba, a 19-year-old man from Montreal, and Samir Nekmouche, a 20-year-old man from Quebec, have been charged with the following offences:

· Possessing Automobile Master Key

· Possession of Device to Obtain Computer Service

 

They were held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

 

Izad Cheikh Ahmed, a 19-year-old man from Montreal, has been charged with the following offences:

 

· Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence

· Possessing Automobile Master Key

· Possession of Device to Obtain Computer Service

 

He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

 

Ayman Fellouh, a 19-year-old man from Quebec, has been charged with the following offences:

 

· Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence

· Assault

· Possessing Automobile Master Key

· Possession of Device to Obtain Computer Service

· Fail to Comply with Release Order x2

 

He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

 

A 17-year-old youth from Montreal has been charged with the following offences:

 

· Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence

· Assault

· Possessing Automobile Master Key

· Possession of Device to Obtain Computer Service

 

The youth was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

 

A 17-year-old youth from Montreal has been charged with the following offences:

 

· Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence

· Possessing Automobile Master Key

· Possession of Device to Obtain Computer Service

 

The youth was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

A general provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Y.C.J.A.) prohibits the release of the name of a Young Person and, therefore, the identities of the Young Persons charged in this investigation are protected.

 

Adlene Zebiche, a 19-year-old man from Montreal, has been charged with the following offences:

 

· Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence

· Forcible Confinement

· Assault

· Extortion

· Possessing Automobile Master Key

· Possession of Device to Obtain Computer Service

· Obstruct Peace Officer

 

He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
