Punjabi Lassi:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4-5 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Saffron strands (optional)
  • Crushed pistachios and almonds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine yogurt, milk, sugar, and cardamom powder.
  2. Blend until smooth and frothy.
  3. If using saffron, soak a few strands in warm milk for a few minutes and then add to the blender.
  4. Pour the lassi into serving glasses.
  5. Garnish with crushed pistachios and almonds.
