Arrests made in a demonstration-related Mischief investigation, Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of arrests made in a mischief investigation.
It is alleged that:
On January 31, 2024, several individuals unlawfully gained access to a private business in the Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue West area
the accused protested inside the business
the accused obstructed the operation of the business and failed to leave when directed
On Saturday, April 13, 2024, Helene Furlottee-Bois, 37, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
Forcible Entry
Mischief to Property
Member of an Unlawful Assembly
Member of an Unlawful Assembly While Masked
Fail to Leave Premises When Directed
She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 2 p.m., in room 202.
On Monday, April 15, 2024, Anna Lippman, 33, and Desmond Cole, 41, both of Toronto, surrendered to police.
Anna Lippman has been charged with:
Forcible Entry
Mischief to Property
Member of an Unlawful Assembly
Member of an Unlawful Assembly While Masked
Fail to Leave Premises When Directed
She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice,10 Armoury Street, on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 2 p.m., in room 202.
Desmond Cole has been charged with:
Mischief to Property
Member of an Unlawful Assembly
Fail to Leave Premises When Directed
He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 2 p.m., in room 202.
