Assistance Needed in a Pedestrian Struck Investigation
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses for a collision that occurred in the City of Mississauga.
On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 4:47 a.m., a 25-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a silver Chevrolet Equinox on Burnhamthorpe Road East, east of Cawthra Road, in the City of Mississauga. The female pedestrian was taken to a trauma center, where she remains in critical condition.
The adult male driver from Mississauga remained on the scene and rendered assistance. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators with the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for anyone in the area on that date who may have witnessed the collision or have dash camera footage to contact the Major Collision Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 3710.
